Kyo-iro – Stone Road of Gion

Shipping Rates
  • ‘Gion no ishidatami’ means stone road of Gion. ‘Gion’ is the city where you can see aesthetics that have been inherited from Japanese ancestors. There are rows of Kyoto-style houses, a flowing river, stone roads and sometimes you can see ‘Maiko-san’. This ink is a lovely brown colour. Each glass bottle contains 40ml of fountain pen ink (also suitable for brush pens) and is presented in a stunning box.

These inks are inspired by famous and fascinating places in Kyoto which have been the expression of its rich history and profound culture for a long time.

This range of inks have been made in accordance with Japanese traditional colours. Craftsman and experts collaborated with TAG Stationery to create the range.

Kyo-no-oto and Kyo-iro inks by TAG Stationery work well with all fountain pens, dip pens and brush pens. They are made using water based dyes and are non pigmented inks.
