If you love collecting different fountain pen inks, calligraphy inks or markers Col-O-Ring is the perfect way to document and categorise your colours.
Col-O-Ring was created as a joint project between The Well Appointed Desk and Skylab Letterpress. The paper is 160gsm and each sheet measures approximately 51mm x 102mm and is held together with a metal ring. You can detach each sheet so you can easily swab each colour and arrange your inks in order. Each Col-O-Ring holds 100 sheets.
The paper was rigorously tested to ensure that inks would not feather, bleed or show through. Inks can be tested with fountain pen, glass pen, dip pen, swabs or paintbrush on the front or back of the sheet.

Unclip the handy metal split ring and remove the sheets you want to swab. For fountain pen inks you could swab each colour using a paintbrush, cotton bud or sponge. Dip pens are a handy way to write out the name of each ink in it's colour. That way you can compare how the colour looks when written without filling and then cleaning your pen.
