The Super5 Ink Rollerball pen combines the comfort and ease of a traditional rollerball with the flair and versatility of a fountain pen.
It's a typical rollerball except it refills with standard international fountain pen ink cartridges or you can add a converter and use your favourite bottled ink, opening up a huge range of possible ink colours for your pen.
This pen has a 0.7mm writing tip, resin body with black finish and snap cap that can be posted at the back of the pen.
Super5 waterproof ink cartridges are available separately in 6 colours.
You have two choices for holding the ink in your pen; Cartridge or Bottled Ink via the Ink converter.
Each Super5 pen comes with one blue waterproof ink cartridge. To use the cartridge you must twist open the body of the pen, push the cartridge onto the prong of the feeder to pierce the cartridge and lock it in place. Then leave the pen rollerball down to allow the ink to flow through the pen for 10 minutes. Don’t be concerned if it takes a little while to begin writing.
Your second option is to use Bottled Inkand a Super5 converter (available separately). You attach this to the pen in the same way as an ink cartridge, then submerge the entire rollerball in the bottle of ink. Twist the back end of the converter until it is completely down, once there twist it back up to draw ink inside your pen. Take a paper towel and wipe off any excessive ink.
To clean your rollerball pen we suggest using lukewarm (not hot) water to clear out the rollerball and feed until the water appears clear. You can do this by dipping the pen in the water, or if using a piston converter draw the water up inside and push backing out. Then touch dry with paper towel and add fresh ink. The pen may write a little watery at first, but this is normal.
