Platinum Pen first produced and launched the original cartridge type carbon black ink in February 1990 to meet needs for a longer-lasting product and based on the concept of “jet-black ink.” Users still praise the ink for having one of the most intense black colours.

This is a waterproof, pigment-based carbon ink. The pack contains 4 ink cartridges.
This ink contains pigment particles, which can cause clogging if allowed to dry out inside of a pen. When using this ink, we recommend giving your pen a good clean every 4 to 6 weeks, or if you don’t plan on using the pen for a week or so.
