  • Iroshizuku ink is regarded as one of the best performing inks made. With a wide range of colours (24) there is an ink to suit all tastes.

Iroshizuku ink works well with all fountain pens and dip pens. Fountain pens require the use of an ink converter. You attach this to the pen in the same way as an ink cartridge, then submerge the entire nib in the bottle of Iroshizuku ink. As you squeeze or twist the back end of the converter it will draw the ink inside via the nib. Please repeat the process until the converter is full. Then take a paper towel and dry the nib.

Your second option for using bottled ink such as Iroshizuku ink requires the use of a syringe. Available at many craft stores. Use the syringe to draw up some ink and fill an empty ink cartridge.
