Fisher Space Pens

Fisher Pens first began manufacturing back in 1948 after Paul Fisher designed the famous bullet pens. In the early 60's he was approached by NASA to develop a pen for missions into space. It took until 1967 for the first Astronauts Space Pen to be ready. Using a revolutionary pressurized ink cartridge Fisher created a pen capable of writing at any angle, in outer space, under water over grease and in extreme temperatures.
These pens remain unchanged to this day and have been taken on every NASA mission since, including the Apollo 11 moon landing. Stories also say the AG7 came to play an important role in the safe return of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldren when following a switch breakage the pen was used to flip the switch needed to activate the Lunar Modules engines!
